Nyako International Soccer Academy is a football academy set up by Vice Admiral Murtala H. Nyako (rtd), GCON, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State.
The academy is aimed at discovering and harnessing young talented soccer skills, which abound in Adamawa State.
Mission
To develop the youths of Adamawa State thereby empowering them economically, which will in turn reduce youths restiveness and create a better society in the long run.
Vision
To see a state where the youths, which have shown interest in sports are developed to the international level.
Aim and Objectives
1. To develop the youths of Adamawa State especially in the area of sports.
2. To create job opportunities to the teaming youths of Adamawa State thereby reducing unemployment.
3. To engage the youths of the state in a useful venture.
4. To promote unity among the various ethnic groups in the state through NISA, which will create an avenue for them to interact with one another.
Philosophies and Values of the Academy
Nyako International Soccer Academy believes:
1. The poor have the potentials to take control of their own transformation with some support,
2. That poverty is closely related to ignorance, deprivation, isolation and fatalism,
3. In identifying with the underprivileged through her services of capacity building and empowerment,
4. In equality of life irrespective of gender and status,
5. In collaborating with other individuals or organisations in facilitating development and reducing poverty.
Partnership
Nyako International Soccer Academy will partner with football clubs at national and international level, the media, medical institutions, sport organisations, state FA, local and state governments in delivering her needed impact.
Target Group
· Young boys between the ages of 4years – 16 years, who are more prune to engage in unlawful behaviours.
